SuperDelegates.org is a "super" site for information on the impact that superdelegates will have on the 2008 Democratic presidential nomination.
This is a follow-up article to the Superdelegates - Protectors of the Democratic Ideals post from February 18, 2008, which stated "superdelegates are like the superheroes of the Democratic Party."
SuperDelegates.org is a wiki site that includes information "to help you learn more about the 795 DNC Super Delegates who will vote in the 2008 Democratic National Convention." Being a wiki, readers may also contribute information to the site and increase the depth of information available.
Some of the highlights of the site are: a full list of superdelegates and which candidate they are endorsing; where the superdelegates are located on a Google Map; how superdelegates are selected; history of superdelegates; latest updates; and, several video clip commentaries and news coverage of the subject.
As I stated in my previous post, it is my opinion that including superdelegates in the nomination process has the potential to allow party insiders to overrule the will of the people expressed through their votes in the primaries, and as such, it should be abandoned.
I'm interested in your thoughts on the matter as well. Please feel free to leave a comment with your point of view.
